Samuel Grodofsky, MD

Founder Samuel Grodofsky, MD, is a pain management physician and anesthesiologist. Dr. Grodofsky is committed to partnering with patients to restore their health and strength in the face of mental illness and chronic pain. He is double board-certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology and received his training at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed medical school at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was awarded the Sir James Young Simpson Award in Residency for showing promise in the field of pain management. He has numerous peer-reviewed publications and has been identified as an emerging leader in the field of neuromodulation.

Lisa Puzak, MSN CRNA

Lisa received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 and her Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia in 2014, both from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Prior to joining Genesis Ketamine Centers in October of 2021 she worked in a variety of anesthetizing locations including operating rooms, outpatient GI centers, interventional radiology suites, and pediatric dental clinics. Providing ketamine for mood disorders and chronic pain conditions has been the highlight of her career, thanks to the relationships she forms with her patients and the results she witnesses. When she’s not working Lisa enjoys camping, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding with her husband and son.

Joe Foster, MS

Joe has been in the field of psychology for 9 years working with populations from children and adolescents with behavioral needs to people recovering from substance abuse. He graduated from Walden University with a Masters of Science in Psychology and lives in the Philadelphia area. Over the years, the thought of working with psychedelics in a medically monitored environment was always an area of interest due the positive effects they can have on the mind and the profound experiences one can go through

Jamie Smith, BCBA

Jamie Smith obtained her M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Southern Illinois University in 2014. She’s a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Certified Sleep-Science Coach who is passionate about long-term behavior change and applying behavioral techniques to other disciplines where there is potential for change. More recently, she has ventured into wellness behaviors (improving sleep hygiene, weight management, practicing mindfulness, etc.) to further increase one’s quality of life.

Araceli Plancarte, CRNA

Born and raised in south Florida, Araceli has been a nurse for over ten years with experience in pediatrics and critical care. She went on to pursue anesthesia and graduated with honors in 2021 from Florida International University with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. She has been with Genesis Ketamine since the opening of its south Florida location in 2022 and is a strong proponent of ketamine therapy and mental health awareness. She enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with her family.

Richard Cabral, DNP, APRN, CRNA

Richard received his Master of Science (MS) Degree in Anesthesiology, from Barry University in 2002 and his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Degree from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in 2015. He has over 30 years of experience in healthcare and has been a vital part of the Genesis clinical team since 2023.
